Helping parents successfully launch their students

Careers With A Purpose reminded me of jobs that I had not considered for a long time but turned out to be a good fit. They also helped me realize that some jobs I had previously considered pursuing did not fit well with my results.

Practical Options Students Should Consider
College/Graduate School
Deciding where to go to school and what to study can be a daunting task. The high costs of education coupled with the vast number of fields of study can be overwhelming to navigate. We help college-bound students identify the best areas to focus on so they can maximize their resources. We provide you what to consider and how to verify that students will graduate with a degree in a growing field.
Trade School
The high costs of education have changed the face of trade schools. Once thought to be specialized programs for manual labor positions, computer science and developer "bootcamps" have been popping up all over the country. Internships, apprenticeships, and certificates are viable ways to enter the workforce and make a comfortable living.
Military
Enlisting in the military is a great way for students to gain experience that sets them apart from their peers. Throw on top of that getting a free education through the GI Bill and you have a winning combination to success. Of course this route isn't for everyone. We help students think through the viability of this option.
Enter The Workforce
Whether entering the workforce directly out of high school or college, we help current students identify positions that fit their skillset and expand their career options.
Gap Year
Does your student want to take a break before entering college or the workforce? There are several Gap Year programs that range from tourism to missionary work. We can help your student identify the best option.

Our youth pastor recommended Careers With A Purpose for our youngest. We are so glad we decided to work with their coaches. They have been a great help, and our son is more confidence in school now.

Coming out of high school I had diverse interests, skills and options when it came to college. The weight of choosing a college was hard, and having to narrow my interests to some field of study was not an easy task. Careers did 2 very important things for me. They gave me a physical list of careers that matched my skills and God-given gifts. This definitely relieved some of the anxiety involved with picking a direction for my college career, as I was able to eliminate the items on the list that I knew I wouldn’t enjoy. This gave me a basis to make my decision to focus on a health and sciences career path.
